Quality Assurance
Axeon Power's quality control systems are set and maintained to the highest standards. We are very conscious that the failure of a simple battery in an expensive or complex product or appliance can severely jeopardise our customer's reputation. We take all the steps possible to ensure that never happens.
Supplier Qualification
Axeon Power carries out quality audits of all its suppliers, including all of its Asian cell suppliers, before adopting their products into its designs. While we endeavour to produce low cost products, our overriding goal is quality and reliability and it is not unusual for us to turn down attractively priced component offers because we are not satisfied with the vendor's quality systems.
Component Qualification
The components used in Axeon Power designs are subject to qualification testing in our own facilities to verify that they conform to our specifications before they are approved for use. For cells this includes cycle testing and load testing as well as environmental testing. See the section on Testing.
Product Qualification
As well as component qualification, the completed products are also subject to qualification testing to ensure that they conform to the customer's specification.
Quality Control
Axeon Power checks the the product and its components at all key stages in the assembly, from the inspection of incoming goods to functional testing of the final product. Defect prevention is an important aim and control systems ensure that corrective actions are taken immediately if any non conformance is discovered.
Compliance with Safety Standards
All Axeon Power products are designed to comply with the relevant safety standards for the intended applications in the markets in which they will be used.
