Answers
1) What exactly does Axeon Power do?
We design and manufacture custom battery packs and battery systems to the customer's requirements for portable power applications. We also provide ancillary power equipment such as chargers, controllers, analysers and test equipment.
2) Can Axeon Power supply a battery for my application?
Yes. Axeon Power has wide experience with batteries for many applications and we can most likely provide a suitable battery for you.

3) Can MPower supply cells for my application?
No. Axeon neither manufactures nor sells energy cells. We are custom pack suppliers.
We do however procure cells on behalf of our customers for use in the packs we make for them.
4) I want to use the latest technology batteries in my product. Can Axeon Power provide these?
Yes. Axeon Power is not tied to a particular technology or vendor. If it exists - we can supply it.
5) Can I buy batteries, chargers, accessories or components directly from Axeon Power?
Unfortunately, if you are a consumer, or a dealer, the answer is No.
Axeon Power is a design and manufacturing company providing custom batteries and related products exclusively for OEM customers (Original Equipment Manufacturers). We do not supply the wholesale or retail markets.
6) Can Axeon Power provide a price and delivery quotation for the following standard batteries?
Axeon Power is a service company. We do not sell or hold stocks of standard battery and power management products, however if you wish Axeon Power to act as your purchasing agent we will be pleased to negotiate a contract for providing this service.
This normally applies for high volume purchases only.

7) Can Axeon Power design a prototype for my application?
Yes. Axeon Power's design group is set up to do just this.

8) I only need a few batteries for a project I am working on. Can Axeon Power supply these?
If they are "specials" with a custom specification, please be aware that our business is providing design services for which a charge will be made.

If the requirement can be satisfied with standard "off the shelf" batteries, please note that we do not sell or hold stocks of standard battery products. See 6) above.
We suggest you contact your local wholesaler or retailer for standard products.
9) Can you make me a battery for my new submarine?
No - But we do make batteries for everything from mobile phones to electric vehicles and emergency power supplies with capacities up to 100kWh and power outputs up to 250kWatts.
Now - About that submarine. Give us a call in a couple of years and we will see what we can do.
10) Does Axeon Power just supply batteries?
No. Axeon Power can supply complete solutions for your power needs, from batteries to chargers and test equipment.
11) I have already developed a battery for my application. Can Axeon Power manufacture it for me?
Yes. Axeon Power has facilities for high and low volume production.
If the volumes justify it, we can also provide automated production lines for producing the product.
12) Can Axeon Power sell me a replacement battery for my appliance or application?
No. Axeon Power does not sell retail batteries.
13) Can Axeon Power provide replacement batteries for XXXX branded products?
No. Axeon Power only supplies the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Any Intellectual Property (IP) developed by Axeon Power for the customer becomes the property of the customer and Axeon Power does not retain any rights to use the customer's IP.
We do not supply replacement or equivalent battery packs in competition with our customers.
14) Can Axeon Power design a custom cell for my application?
No. Axeon Power uses standard cells to construct custom battery packs. We can perhaps design a pack to suit your needs. Why not give us a call at +44(0)1382 400040 or use our Query form.
15) A new supplier has been suggested for the cells to be used in my product, can Axeon Power use these cells?
Yes. Axeon Power is independent of cell suppliers and is free to use the most cost effective solutions. We do however carry out product and vendor qualification to ensure the components we use meet their claimed design specifications before a new supplier is adopted.
16) Can Axeon Power provide performance information about XXXX class of batteries?
We try to provide as much information as possible on the Technology Pages of this web site but Axeon Power's business is supplying custom battery packs.
Data sheets for standard battery types should be obtained directly from the relevant manufacturers.
17) Can Axeon Power provide detailed performance characteristics for XXXX cell technology?
As above - we try to provide as much information as possible on the Technology Pages of this web site.
More in depth information will usually be provided as part of our Design Services.

18) Can Axeon Power provide technical advice to solve a problem I have with my battery application?
Yes. Axeon Power's business is providing technical consultancy and manufacturing services. Our free help lines are however intended only for business enquiries, unless your query is associated with a design or production contract, there is normally a charge for consultancy services. See Design Services.
Note: We try to provide as much helpful information as possible on this web site but we do not have the resources to answer enquiries about individual technical problems on a free of charge basis nor do we solicit such business.
19) Can Axeon Power provide me with a copy of XXXX battery standard?
Axeon Power does not hold copies of all the battery standards. These are should be available from the issuing organisation or from your local library.

20) Can Axeon Power provide me with a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for XXXX batteries?
Material Safety Data Sheets are specific to particular batteries or cells and only the manufacturer of the cells knows the material content.
This information can only be obtained from the manufacturer concerned.

21) Does Axeon Power refurbish batteries?
No. We only manufacture new batteries.
Note: the failure rates on our batteries are so low that none of our customers has ever requested refurbishment.
22) Where can I buy "Axeon Power" branded batteries?
Axeon Power only makes batteries for OEM customers and these batteries normally carry the branding of the customer concerned.
23) Where are the Axeon Power facilities?
Axeon Power operates from a modern manufacturing facility in Dundee Scotland, but has sales offices in mainland Europe and North America.
